I am pleased to be welcoming each of you to the first meeting of 2012, at the Newberry College. I sincerely hope to meet as many of you as possible at this and/or another one of our 2012 activities. Attached you should find the details of the February 7 meeting, together with upcoming plans for the first half of this year. Please contact Dr. Christina McCartha about your plan to attend so that adequate meals and seating are provided. It is important to honor your reservation, as our Section will pay for the number of meals prepared. It is similarly important to reserve your number of attendees for sufficient meal service.

I sincerely hope you will enjoy as many of our meetings as possible. I am particularly encouraging our industry members to renew their participation and help influence the direction of our Section and its future meeting topics. Your employer and you should receive the most benefit from membership through local activity.
